“on tuesday nike unveiled new plans to help mother earth. nike’s new nike considered design plan is to have all apparel, footwear, and sports equipment meet environmentally friendly standards for all footwear come 2011. the same goes for nike apparel by the year 2015, along with equipment by 2020. nike’s agenda is to cut waste of their global footwear supply by 17% and raise the use of environmentally preferred materials by 20%.

‘i see potential for us to be a game changer….this is good for our shareholders, our consumers, and ultimately, our planet.'”
